The story behind the #treepicchallenge
We want to leave quarantine with more trees than we started with!
At GLV, our mission is to provide sustainable travel adventures to Tanzania. One of the things we do as part of every expedition is plant trees. We partner with Greenstand to pay local planters to ensure that trees reach their full height. Right now, with travel not being possible, trees aren’t being planted. In addition, locals are being hit hard by the lack of tourism.
We wanted to find a way to tackle these issues and so came up with the #treepicchallenge! It’s an easy way to share your love for the environment and encourage your friends and family to do the same!
