Climb Kilimanjaro
One of the greatest ways to top off you experience is to take on the ultimate challenge of an African Mountain climb.
At GLV, we are lucky to be based near the greatest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro.
Climb Mount Meru
Mount Meru the fifth highest mountain in Africa reaching 4,566 m. Not well as known as Kilimanjaro but very popular with travellers visiting Tanzania for many reasons. It’s a more attractive climb than Kilimanjaro for many as it only takes 2 or 3 days as opposed to 6 or 7, so costs are considerably lower.

GLV offers your group an authentic experience to live as one of the tribe learning to cook, gather food and use traditional methods of collecting medicine and resources for their way of life.
“There is no experience like sitting around an open fire with Maasai warriors, goat leg slowly cooking in the flames under a starry night sky with the distant roar of lion’s occasional filling the silence.” — Will
Bushcraft Experience
No Bushcraft experience can beat the setting of the African Maasai Bush.
Learn modern and traditional Bush craft and survival skills from our trained U.K. Staff as well as from our Maasai warrior staff.
This experience offers your group the chance to learn a number of fire building techniques, wood craft, foraging, survival skills and shelter building, all in the setting of the African bush.
This is also a chance to try some of the best traditional food Tanzania has to offer all prepared on an open fire and dined on under the starry night sky.
